I didn't mean to break you
Or break across the line
But I saw you moving
Don't you think I know
I thought I saw you moving
Don't you think I know

I love you more than anything
A rainy day, a wedding ring
I came into your house last night
I creeped and checked it out

You can look at who you want
But don't you think I know
You can look at who you want
But don't you think I know

Write your letter for all your life
Hope somebody reads
Your hair still wet when I found you
Someone drowned you in a stream

I thought I saw you moving
Don't you think I know
I thought I saw you moving
Don't you think I know
I thought I saw you moving
Don't you think I know

General CommentAn awesome song that seems to be about a jealous person stalking an ex-lover. Warren has said you can take it that way, but it's really about a Manson Family killing, and one person who survives by "playing possum." The killer thinks he sees this person moving. Either way, it's a morbid song but sounds like it could be by The Carpenters.

However you want to take it, it's a great song...one of the best of 2006, IMHO. David Bowie agreed, making the song's melody his ringtone.

Detrola is such an amazing record, one of HNIA's best. It's too bad 4AD dropped the band four years prior. They really could have used a record this good that year.
