"Cry Over Me" as written by and Diane Eve Warren....
Another night sleepless
I don't want to feel this
Nothing can stop this pain
Trying to get to a time I forget you
Still tangled in yesterday

It's so easy for you
To give nothing for me
Did you ever feel anything?

I want you to cry over me
Die over me
Even for a moment
Even for a moment

I want you to hurt over me
Feel what I feel
I want you to cry over, die over me
Baby, just for one time

I want your heart broken
Some sign of emotion
Wanna to see the tears tumble down

Show me I meant something
And that you feel nothing
But your world crashing to the ground

It's so easy for you
To forget about me
Did I ever mean anything?

I want you to cry over me
Die over me
Even for a moment
Even for a moment

I want you to hurt over me
Feel what I feel
I want you to cry over, die over me
Baby, just for one time

Cry, cry, cry

But did you feel something?
Did we mean nothing at all?

I want you to cry over, cry over me
Die over me
Even for a moment
Even for a moment

I want you to hurt over me
Feel what I feel
Even for a moment
Oh, why can't you just cry over, die over me

Baby, why can't you hurt like I do
Like I hurt over you
Can't you cry over, die over me
Baby, just for one time

I want you to cry over, die over me
Baby, want you to fall on your knees
Baby, crawl back to me
Want you to cry over, die over me
Baby, just one time

Cry, cry, cry

General CommentThis song is probably my favorite Meat Loaf song, so of course let me give the obligatory, I can't believe no one's commented on this song yet, anyway...to me the song is special to me because there was someone I had really deep feelings for for a very long time, and it killed me that the person never felt the same way about me, and it was frusterating and at least one point in time, I said to myself, just once I wish YOU would cry over ME and then a year or two later this song came out and it really helped me express my feelings at elast to myself.

General CommentHeres a comment! yeah this ones really gut wrenching. I listened to it over and over after my b/f dumped me, saying he had never thought anything other than me being pretty. Its a killer, definately, when that sort of thing happens.

General CommentLove this song, to me this reminds me of a girl I was with, I loved her deeply and thought she did too, 'cept she didn't, she led me to believe that and after we split she said she was hurt and couldn't turn her feelings off for me, but I never saw it, she never seemed bothered by the fact we were over. The anguish in the song really reminds me of how upset I felt after I saw how things were really going, I just wanted her to cry over me for once so it didn't seem those months were a waste and a lie.
