You want me to trust
Is that why there's blood on the floor
Is this meant for us
Drawing my name in the dust
Closing the door left open

Smile like you own the rain
Then tell it to flood
The people of pain
Until we're all the same

Then give me some clutch
Squeeze the last drop of your touch
You're tired and sold
Shiver from cold drops of love
So why do I trust
I could care less about you and your

I need you don't alone
This means you won't alone

General CommentWell, first off I would love to show my profound respect for bands like Index Case and all the other bands from Des Moines, Iowa that have worked so hard for so long, and show mad respect for the world and they all deserve the best. Except for this little known band called Slipknot, who are egocentric assholes that don’t show any respect from there roots other than that if they were from any other city no one would ever know.

On that note go see the documentary, “A Clown Short of Destiny. It shows how hard bands have tried to get a name for themselves, and when one does they ignore and dismiss that they ever came from a hell hole like Des Moines, which makes me sick.

As for the meaning of the song I find it quite simple but it could used in many contexts then just the shallow meaning, which is an ex lover who hurts them in the end. Also, the lyrics could apply to many situations to this day and age. By the way this is truly my favorite Index Case song.

If any of you saw the trailer and wondering what song that was in there it was this one.

Rock on. Keep up your love for music.
