"One Last Chance" as written by and Kevin Richard/catchpole Andrews....
In my life I don't mean much to anyone
I've lost my way can't go back anymore
Once I had everything now it's gone
Don't tell me again coz I've heard it all before

Some people say that I'm not worth it
I've made mistakes but nobody's perfect
Guess I'll give it a try

I've got one last chance to get myself together
I can't lose no more time it's now or never and I try to remember who I used to be
I've got one more chance to get myself together

The time has come for me to change again
I can't carry on like this, I will lose my friends - don't say that you have given up on me
Just give me the time and speace to heal my head
Some people say that I'm not worth it
I've made mistakes but nobody's perfect
Guess I'll give it a try

I've got one last chance to get myself together
I can't lose no more time it's now or never and I try to remember who I used to be
I've got one more chance to get myself together

I don't wanna be misunderstood
I've got to take this chance and make it into something good

Some people say that I'm not worth it
I've made mistakes but nobody's perfect
Guess I'll give it a try

I've got one last chance to get myself together
I can't lose no more time it's now or never and I try to remember who I used to be
I've got one more chance to get myself together

I got one last chance.
Well you know it's all I need.
Is one last chance,

General Commenti really like this song. i think its about getting depression and forgetting who you used to be. people are saying that your just seeking attention, and your getting really sick of things. and i think that the person is comtemplating suicide but they have come to a decision in their mind that they are gonna give everything one more go. and then if that goes wrong then its over...
im surprised that no one else has commented on this song as i think the meaning is pretty obvious but all the same its a gret song.

General Commentthis song is about a guy james used to live with , who had a drug problem that he couldn't shake. And how james watched him go down hill.

General CommentRecovery from drug addiction and the numerous chances your family and friends keep on giving you to get yourself together - you really want to but have failed so many times and now you know it's the end of the road and if you don't do it now they won't be patient for too much longer as you've pulled them down with you...

General Commenti absolutely love this song... i definately can see it relating to someone overcoming drug problems or dealing with them at least, but this song definately helped me through a rough time i was having for a completely different reason. i love the line "...and I try to remember who I used to be...
I've got one more chance to get myself together" because ppl kept telling me i had changed (not neccessarily for the better) and i was afraid i'd never be who i was before... and this song helped SOOO much! i LOVE IT!

Song MeaningIt's very flexible in terms of meaning but I think that it is basically about someone who is seen by people as a bad person for any number of reasons, maybe a drug addiction or being in love with the 'wrong' type of person like in Romeo and Juliet. They have one last chance to prove themselves to everyone else. Listening to it now, it is probably about a drug addiction, but I had never thought of it like that until I read some other very 'spot on' comments! Thanks guys, this song has a deeper meaning now :).

General CommentI can see, also, how it's about trying to overcome a drug addiction.

I've always interpreted it like @youngmelon- that it was about trying to overcome depression. Well, at least, that's how I connected with the song, haha. :P
