This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.
I think about a lonely real world
But where my thoughts are bound
Oh I just can't tell
And oh, there's nothin' I wouldn't do to have ya now
For only one more night spent into your magic dust
Don't you know that this is real love
Baby I'm waitin' to go
Don't you know that this thing's real
Baby I'm achin' to know
And oh, as far as I can see love
Baby I ain't ready to tow
Your heavy charms from broken deals
Chorus:
To steal those arms from the carousel
We hear those drums and we're setting sail
If the fear comes down, then you better start makin' it right
'Cause things might be carrying over
We hear those chimes from the wedding bell
And see that sign from the old hotel
The DJ's sayin' on your radio player tonight
Things might be carrying over
Now to settle down, well that takes some real work
If you drown in the tides, oh will you wish from the well
We're holdin' out in a fortress of mirrors, ya know
For only one more night spent into your magic lust
Don't you know that I still feel love
Baby I'm comin' to you
Don't you know that I still can feel
Baby are we startin' anew
And as long as I can breathe love
Baby will you carry me through
Oh it was never a question of your frozen heels
But where my thoughts are bound
Oh I just can't tell
And oh, there's nothin' I wouldn't do to have ya now
For only one more night spent into your magic dust
Don't you know that this is real love
Baby I'm waitin' to go
Don't you know that this thing's real
Baby I'm achin' to know
And oh, as far as I can see love
Baby I ain't ready to tow

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve.
The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future.
Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere"
The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988.
"'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it."
"There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
This is such a good song. There is a live clean version on the Family Values Tour 2006 CD. I think I like that one better. And, I also heard that Elijah did it acoustic on the Howard Stern show. Anyway, as for the meaning, I don't really know how to put it into words at this time. It's just a feeling. My wife and I were jamming to it the other night and she just started balling and she didn't even know why. Take care all you Legions out there.
