"Breaking Your Heart" as written by John D. Rich, Vicky Lynn Mcgehee and Cheyenne Kimball....
You could be everything that I want
If I wanted it, but I don't
And I won't be changing my mind
Try to convince me if you can
But you'd better understand
That I've heard all these little boy lines

If I had time to waste...
Hey, hey, hey

I could play along
Sing you my song
And tell you what you wanna hear
I could dance all night
Make you feel alright
Whisper something in your ear
I could lead you on and on and on
But baby, I won't even start
'Cause I ain't got the time,
Ain't got the time
Time to be breakin' your heart

I've never been out of this town
I wanna walk on different ground
I don't care where
But I wanna go now
And I have all these crazy dreams
So don't take it personally
When I won't do what you want

If I had time to waste...
Hey, hey, hey

I've waited all of my life
To finally take this ride

General Commenti think it's pretty obvious what it's about.
she has this new life ahead of her and theres this guy who either doesnt aggree with her or just likes her that she could easily play along with and do what he wants, but she's not going to. she's going to follow her dreams and she doesn't have time/want him.

My InterpretationI agree with you wtfkatiesaid.

    Also, I think it is
    "But you'd better understand
That I've heard all these little boy LIES" not "lines."
    But not entirely sure.
