I'm a stuttering fool
I'm just a tool with bad complexion
But did I mention -
I've lost my own attention
I've been deprived of all my senses
Shadows on the wall making faces
Voices in my mind leaving traces in my life
A simple four-sided cardboard stage with sock puppets and toothpick fences
I'm tired of not having enough money to buy new lenses
I've just been feeling...

So dense
So tense
So helpless and confused

My fuse is out and God is a noose
And I'll hang from this rope until I choke
And come back and haunt you as a ghost
Ooh-ooh...(that's a ghost)

And the days go by
And I'm still here, why am I here?
And the days go by
And I'm still here, why am I here?

And I'm still twiddling my thumbs
Staring at the crumbs as the ants carry them along on their backs with my
Legs crossed
And a dumb look upon my face
In lack of space
I'm a disgrace
Nothing more than a giant stain on this city
Everyone is so greedy
And I'm so needy
We're all afraid of rejection, but I need attention
'Cause I'm the kind of person
That's pretty on the inside
But you'll have to get to know me
Really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really (really) really really well (well...)

Listen to your conscious...
But don't do what it says...
Listen...

Listen to your conscious
But don't do what it says
Listen to your conscious
But don't do what it says
Listen to your conscious
But don't do what it says
Listen to your conscious
But don't do what it says
Listen to your conscious
But don't do what it says
Listen to your conscious
But don't do what it says
Listen to your conscious
But don't do what it says
Listen to your conscious
But don't do what it says

This is a really good song and I really great band I'm surprised not many people have heard of them...they were in Gus Van Sant's "Last Days" as that one band that Blake walks by...Blake, played by Michael Pitt, in another good band called Pagoda...anyway.

For me, this song is about not having much faith inyourself and being insecure about who you really are. But through it all, you still feel that if people got to know who you really are, they'd like you.

I think I got most of the lyrics right, as I had to write them just listening to the song.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
