They say that we'll get married but
I’d quite like to run away
Everybody thinks you're perfect but
I don’t care what people say
I don't want to get a mortgage
or think of when I'm 63
Or in terms of dogs and babies
I know how much you love me
But I don’t think I love you
Anymore

But I don't think you understand
And naturally I'm a little wilder
And I don’t need to hold your hand
I don't want to get a mortgage
or think of when I'm 63
Or in terms of dogs and babies
And know how much you love me
But I don’t think I love you
Anymore

I've come to the conclusion that
There's far too many girls and boy meet
Someone else can see you're hurt
I'm really not that sweet
I don't want to get a mortgage
or think of when I'm 63
Or in terms of dogs and babies
And know how much you love me
But I don’t think that I love you

(She don't think that she loves him)
And I don’t think that I need you
(She don't think that she needs him)
Anymore

The title refers to the speaker. she isnt ready to settle down with anyone and shes much wilder.. hense her quite likely to run off with the milkman

General CommentSo pretty... a very good song. It's somewhere between hopeful and sad. I love the way these lines sound: "But I don't think you understand
And naturally I'm a little wilder
And I don't need to hold your hand"
