I bite my tongue another perfect time
I’d do anything to make her happy,
Even if it means my being miserable as long as she’s loving life

I will be able to sleep at night, with a smile upon her face (2x)

The thought of her smile and not being there
My inner feelings would be shattered
A piece of glass punctured in my heart
I’m bleeding from the inside

I will be able to sleep at night, with a smile upon her face (2x)

As long as she’s perfectly fine (2x)
And someday she will be mine

I will be able to sleep at night
With a smile upon her face
As long as she’s perfectly fine
I hope she’s perfectly fine
And someday she will be mine

true, real love: selfless. doesn't matter if the person loves you back or not, just as long as they're happy. their happiness makes you happy, and their sadness causes you pain. "and someday she will be mine" he's thinking very optimistically about his situation. this song is originally by the chiodos bros. but i like the new acoustic/piano version or whatever you wanna call it a lot

Well, I can't stand this song to be entirely honest. The vocals are horrible, and the piano is boring.

But a girl I care alot for told me to listen to this. We just now this very second decided that we'll just only be freinds. That last line made me smile, even though it seems as though she's making fun of me.

this song makes me want to cry, chiodos has the best lines, "I'll love you until my last breath takes you from me." I say them to my boy all the time.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
