Dip my tail in blood ink
Write it down in red
Scribe the words "Happy meal"
Right across your head

Tired of getting walked on
Treated like a sheep
Don't blame me for all the years
That you were asleep

[Relax
God is in control
Watch the dot
Take your meds
Obey my demands
Trust my dog
Time for surgery
Relax
God is in control
Watch the dot
Take your meds
Obey my demands
Trust my dog
Shut your eyes you're dead]

Televised mass poison
Spitting at the screen
Keep the masses deluded
With fabricated dreams

Powdered God in a bag
From the Vatican
I want you to fuck off
As hard as you can

[Chorus]

Heaven has burst open
Now it's raining bones
The chaos will erode you
Breeding little clones

Born of a fallen rib
From the monkey's womb
Overcooked by cathode rays
Evolved to consume

100% [4x]

Eating from the butcher's slab
Becoming what they meet
Restrained and roasted while they gorge
Strapped into the seat

Bathing in your arrogance
Dining will ensue
God made me a cannibal
To fix problems like you

[Chorus]

100% [2x]

Last time was the last time...
This time, you're 100% [3x]

Last time was the last time...
This time, you're 100% fucked

General CommentIn psychology, metaphors of cannibalism are often interpreted as feelings of being overwhelmed, or eaten alive, by something. Added in with the symbolism of being operated upon by God, this seems to me to be an outcry against destiny, especially that which is imposed on us by society.

(Interesting to note- when I look at this page, the Google Ads are all displaying recipes for Beef. Yummy.)

General CommentA constant theme of the song is societal brainwashing/being a slave to society ('Treated like a sheep/Don't blame me for all the years/That you were asleep', for example). It seems to me that the chorus represents a sort of societal brainwashing ('Obey my demands'), especially via mass media ('Televised mass poison') and religion ('Relax/God is in control' and 'Powdered God in a bag/From the Vatican'). The song is heavy with religious imagery as well cannibalism/evolution - the two seem to be entwined, which makes me think it's more about predators than either of those two things.
Overall, I think it is about how the weak are slaves to society, food for those in control, who manipulate the weak through devices like mass media and religious authority.

General CommentI don't understand why everyone is so obsessed with the cannibalism bit, when it only appears in the last verse of the song. Yes it's a big part of the song but it's not what the song is as a whole, so you can't say "this song is obviously a metaphor for cannibalism" because they use cannibalism as a metaphor to stress another point in the song.
The song is actually formatted like a "five paragraph essay" if you will.
In the first verse they bring about the point that we are brainwashed and are a herd of sheep/cattle that have been branded by corporations with slogans such as "Happy Meal." Basically we are owned by them
Then they talk about how we are being brainwashed both by media and by religion, and that both outlets are being used to gain control of us. Then in the third verse they continue the point that the "church" owns us with allusions to heaven (the great place we'll end up if we follow "God's" rules) and ribs (In the creation story Eve was created out of Adam's rib i believe).
Throughout in the chorus when Destroy X is talking about the how "you" should trust her when she says she needs surgery, she's saying that our trust in the corporations is what allows them to take control of our minds.
In the last verse the Angelspit uses cannibalism as a metaphor for how the corporations feed off of us. When we are brainwashed and sedated it is easier for them to take advantage of us, take our money, and "eat us alive."
The whole 100% part of the song makes me think of when something loads on your computer. It starts at 0% and then works itself up. So basically they are saying that we are computers and the brainwashing virus that "the man" has installed into all of us has been 100% transferred and there is nothing we can do about it.
I mean I could be wrong about some things, but I overall that's what I got from the song.

General CommentA lot of it seems to have to do with Cannibalism.

General CommentTo me this song is a very macabre, delicious and witty look at ignorance. It does use imagery of cannibalism and does allude to it on many occasions but it's more of a figurative way of implying that society has become little more than food. That our brains are fried by so many outside influences, [Vatican, entertainment, politics..] that we cease to become any more substantial than walking meat.

[All in all an awesome song though. My favorite lyrics: "Bathing in your arrogance, dining will ensue, God made me a cannibal to fix problems like you." Just genius.]

General CommentI think this song is just taking a stab at humanity in general. And all the stupid ass shit we do.

This race has gotten so absurd and out of control. So i think that is represented in the choppyness of the song.

But i think it's defending cannibalism, too. And getting back at society.
