Suckers walk, money talks!
But it can't touch my three lock box!
Uh! Oh, yeah!
Mysteries of the days of old.
You find the key, you got the gold.
One, two, three lock box.
One, two, three lock box.
One, two, three lock box.
One, two, three lock box.
Treasure's here, sunken there.
Buried treasure's everywhere.
One, two, three lock box.
One, two, three lock box.
Don't go far, circle close.
The father, son, the holy ghost.
To the trinity, I raise a toast!
Ahh, yea!
One, two, three lock box.
One, two, three lock box.
One, two, three lock box.
One, two, three lock box.
-solo-
Secrets of the trinity lie within the number three.
Uh! Hey!
One, two, three lock box.
One, two, three lock box.
One, two, three lock box.
One, two, three lock box.
(Three Lock Box)
One, two, three lock box.
One, two, three lock box.
(Three Lock Box)
One, two, three lock box.
One, two, three lock box.
(Three Lock Box)
[Repeat To Fade]

General Comment:Yes Sammy is that deep. Here is a video of him explaining the 3 aspects of the human soul. Way to break the mold Sammy- a heavy metal song that isn't about sex, drugs or rock and roll.

General Comment:A three-lock box is a box that someone like a queen would have that would hold something very valuable. It has three locks on it and requires three different keys to be able to break into and steal the valuables away.

As Sammy Hagar explains it, the three locks represent spirituality, physicality, mentality. If you have these three things in balance, no one person or event that effects you can get to your soul because you have these three most valuable things that are key to living an enjoyable life.

General Comment:No doubt in my mind, Hagar had much more in mind, the whole second verse is about the Trinity, and literally all the secrets of the universe are encoded in that concept.

General Comment:okay. let's not accuse the cabo wabo guy of being too metaphysical. look at the first two lines of the song. sounds just like jesus, right???
no, sammy's talking about a very special type of woman, one who will let you 'have' her in one, two, three of her orifices. so, to recap: oral, vaginal, anal. it's easy as one, two, three.

General Comment:Ummm...I don't think Sammy is that deep or metaphysical.

If you think about it, especially coming from Sammy Hagar, there's a much more sexual meaning. I'm not saying Sammy might not be throwing in some metaphyscial references, but Sammy's never been that deep, overall. And he pretty much just puts together any combination of words in his lyrics, sometimes. I guess, what I'm saying, is that it never seems that important to Sammy to write too intelligent of lyrics.

3-lock box - pair of jeans with 3 buttons.
    Button-fly jeans, anyone?
The box - do I have to explain?
Buried treasure's everywhere - yes, lots of women with "buried treasure" under their "3-lock" box that are, indeed, everywhere...

so, basically, a woman's you know what is the "three-lock" box...
