I lie, say I’m alright
Say I’m alright
No, no, no
I lie, say I’m alright
Say I’m alright
No, no, no
I lie, say I’m alright
Say I’m alright
No, no, no
I lie, say I’m right

Say I’m right
And I know whoa whoa
Yesterday speaks in bones
With your head with upon the waves
So let it ache
You try to feed upon the waves
So let it ache
You start to bleed upon the waves
So let it ache
Without wings, without bones

Take me home
Take me home

Well I’m damned if I do
But damned if I don’t
And I’m damned if I speak
But I’m damned if I won’t
And these voices you hear
Are never certain or clear
But these choices you make
Are not quiet your choices anymore

Take me home
Take me home
Take me home
Take me home

Say I’m right
And I know whoa whoa
Yesterday speaks in bones
With your head upon the waves
So let it ache
You try to feed upon the waves
So let it ache
You start to bleed upon the waves
So let it ache
Without wings, without bones

Take me home
Take me home
Take me home
Take me home

General Commentyay! a fellow lovegods fan! i think this song is gorgeous. i think this song is partly about trying to conceal your true feelings to someone, mainly depression.
i also think the lyrics for the part

"With your head with upon the waves
    So let it ache
You try to feed upon the waves
    So let it ache
You start to bleed upon the waves
    So let it ache
Without wings, without bones" are slightly wrong...i think the "So let it ache" is actually "So black".
I think the song is also about feeling like everyone's against you, but desperately wanting someone to understand.
    just ideas really.
