"Primal" as written by and Neil / Halstead....
Today
I lost a [colors fray]
Watch the games you play
And when it all force down you
Don't forget the days
When the sunshine fades away
Remember what they say
Remember what they say
The right time
She calls
To tell
Every time
She says she's falling
And every time
She call us friends
Because
To the right time
She calls
To tell it would
Every time
She says she's falling
Every time
She call us friends
Can't believe
She says she's []
Can't believe
[Disgusted]
[Disgusted]
I can't believe it
[Scares me]
[Can't believe it]

General CommentThe lyrics are incomplete and wrong. This song isn't about racism when the lyrics are more understood, it's about a romance & the PRIMAL emotions involved, the actual lyrics (as closely as I can make them out) is as follows, please note how they actually FIT the front cover of the album...the girl "spinning in a wash of color")

    LYRICS:

Today, I watch the colors fade
    watch the games we play
and when it all falls down, Yeah
Don't forget the days, when the sunshine fades here

    Remember what they say
    Remember what they say

    [Chorus]
    Two life-times
    she calls, today...
    everytime, she says she's falling,
and everytime, I caught her spin.

    [Chorus]
    She calls...two life-times
    She calls, today
    everytime, she says she's falling,
and everytime, I caught her spin.

    I can't believe, [???]
    Can't believe, this girl,
    I love this girl,
    I can't believe, this girl
    can't believe, can't believe.

General CommentThis song can have so many meanings. It's so broad and general. To me, this seems to be a song about the overcoming of racism. Watching times pass and change. Great song.
