"Miss You" as written by and Carsten/karlin Schack....
Everyone knows it
Can you deny it
I was the only one for you
Everyone knows it
'cause we couldn't hide it
Nobody else got close its true

My love was stronger then you think
Much stronger now I've had a dream

Well, I hope you know that I miss you
And I wonder where you've been
And I wonder who you've seen
And I hope that he's a friend

Do I miss you? (yeah)
Do I miss you? (yeah)
And I wonder where you been
And I hope you're with a friend

Everyone knows it
So don't you deny it
We had it all made down for two
Everyone knows it
'cause we couldn't hide it
I was the sea and the sky for you

All of a sudden the wind just changed direction
That big black cloud came rolling in

Well, I hope you know that I miss you
And I wonder where you've been
And I wonder who you've seen
And I hope that he's a friend

Do I miss you? (yeah)
Do I miss you? (yeah) Yes I do
And I wonder who you've seen
And I hope that he's a friend

General CommentFor me, this fits perfectly with Blue Piccadilly, and I love the fact that they merged the two songs into one track on the album.

Blue Piccadilly is about a relationship that is coming to an end - the first verses indicate that perhaps they were in it for the wrong reasons, and later in the song comes the line 'Ain't it a shame there's another' - possibly another reason for the break up.
Perhaps I'm using a little poetic licence here, but I feel that he is saying that there is already a distance between them; illustrated in the line 'twelve stops and home'. It is unclear whether 'home' refers to the home that they share, or a new home that he has had to make for himself.

....then at the end of the song, there is a period of silence, the sound of footsteps returning, and then this song.

    I think that this song is about confusion. Whilst Blue Piccadilly indicated that they may not have been compatible, by the time he wrote this song, he seems to have changed his mind;
    'Everyone knows it
    Can you deny it
I was the only one for you
    Everyone knows it
    Cause we couldn't hide it'
Now he is saying that it was obvious to everyone that they were supposed to be together.

I think that the line, 'I wonder who you've seen and I hope that hes just a friend' refers to the 'another' mentioned in Blue Piccadilly.

As well as confusion about why the relationship had to end, and who the other person is, I think this song is about pain and regret
'My love was stronger than you think
Much stronger now I've had a drink'
One of those memories that is so painful that you automatically stop yourself from going back over it in your head, so that you only really think about in when you've been drinking and have let down your guard.
Perhaps this song is the equivalent of that 'drunken phone call' so many of us have made...?!

I could be totally wrong.... but I'd LIKE to think that's what it means. =)

General Commentthis song is sooo lovely.
a broken relationship, the other person maybe is now with someone else?

"Do I may assume" i think should be "do i miss you"

General Commenttheres lots of lyrics sites out there which say its "much stronger now i've had a dream". seems stupid, but he doesnt actually pronounce the k... i presume its drink though.

General Commentthis is a separate song, although on the album it does seem like part of Blue Picadilly, but when i saw them live they played it after something different; Blue Picadilly was played last.

General CommentI think maybe its about a relationship that has been kind of stopped because the 2 people have not been able to see each other (one moved away or something) and that he still very much wishes things could go back to the way they were and the other one may feel the same way but is denying it, maybe even denying that they ever even loved him so he is reminding the person how they "couldn't hide it" and "everyone knew it" ( that they loved each other) and "I was the sea and sky, was you" meaning they meant everything to each other but then something happened "a big black cloud came rolling in" not to stop them loving each other, but to stop them seeing each other?!
"I wonder who you've seen, and i hope that he's a friend" - he hopes that he hasn't been replaced

General CommentThis is song very pretty. Sounds like a relationship that was nixed for some unprecedented (or perhaps not) reason... and the sad feelings that come along with that.

General CommentPerhaps this song is written from the perspective of the other half of "When I Return" - from the view of someone whose loved one has gone travelling around the world, as opposed to the one doing the travelling.

General Commentthis song really says how i feel atm.
i think its about someone who has broken up with someone, but still has feelings for them. he still misses them, and hhopes their with a friend, maybe meaning he hopes someones looking after him, but also could suggest that hes hoping the person his ex is with is just a friend.
    thats my take on it
    amazing song :)
