"Your Face" as written by and Crispin Macmichael Sandys Hunt....
You know I really had to use my sense now I
I slam the door right in your face
How's it feel, how's it taste?

And look how, you won't dance with me
Well, has this symbol made you so mean
That you're looking so far past me

When you say what you say but don't walk away
My tongue so tired from putting out the fire
That I, I started in the first place

So pretend you're in my shoes, you got nothing to lose
And if I'm acting slutty then it's probably from the booze
The booze

What's wrong with your face, you never smile anymore
What's wrong with your face, you never close your eyes
When I kiss your face, you never smile anymore
What's wrong with your face, ohh

And sometimes I sit and wonder
Why I bother when I know that all this anger's for your father
Can you hear me, she's gonna kill me

When she finds out your magazines that are dirty
I feel so dirty, but nothing can hurt me
Except the way you shake your head

When you you say what you say but don't walk away
My tongue so tired from putting out the fire that I
I started in the first place

So pretend your in my shoes, you got nothing to lose
And if I'm acting slutty then it's probably from the booze
The booze

What's wrong with your face, you never smile anymore
What's wrong with your face, you never close your eyes
When I kiss your face, you never smile anymore
What's wrong with your face, ohh

General Commenti can't believe this song wasnt posted or no one had commented on it yet..

i LOVE this song. i think it's pepper's best yet.

i think the song is about being rejected by someone you love and all the problems that are faced. it starts out with bitterness, then looking back, and almost a sense of regret about the whole thing. but in the end he ends up exactly where he started.

General CommentEh, it almost sounds like a failed relationship... or, yeah, rejection. I like it anyway.

General Commenti think i tis just that he really loves her, but she has no more emotions towards him anymore, only anger because her father is what makes her so emotionally tired. So, there are none left for him, not just anger, but love too.He always sees her angry even when he tries to love on her. He tries to make her feel better or he gets angry when she is angry and he wonders why he wastes all his emotions on her when he knows that the reason she is angry is because her father. It feels to me like it is just a web of anger made by her father...maybe he should just die. That was mean. I said emotion and anger a lot. Sorry.

General CommentI cant believe that Pepper sold out as massively as they did on No Control, and this song is the Epitome of it all. Now you can say all you want to about the "Meaning" of this song, but what this song really means is that Pepper's credibility just tumbled out the window.
