Cut me and I bleed same as you do
Cut me and I bleed we all do

And underneath the need
Secrets show through
Is there anyone of us
Whoever truly trusts the things
We all do?

Sensing the pain you lash out
With no restraint
Creating a place that you
Cannot defend

Suffocating need befalls you
When there's nothing left
To hang on to
We fall through
Till there's nothing left for us
Far too hard to trust
The things we all do

(And you fall down dying to know you)
Sensing the pain you lash out
With no restraint
Creating a place you can never defend
Sensing the pain
That's inside of your mind
Breaking down beyond your sight

When I bleed and I release a piece
Of me so seldom seen
When I bleed, when I bleed can I survive myself inside you?

If you cut me and I bleed
I bleed, we all do
And underneath the need
Secrets show through
Is there anyone of us
Who ever truly trust the things
We all do?

When I bleed and I release a piece
Of me so seldom seen
When I bleed, when I bleed can I survive myself inside you?

General CommentI think this song relates to a burst of pent up agression, one that we regret very greatly, and we wish to take the pain we gave that person, and inflict it upon ourselves as atonement for our sin. Kind of like an eye for an eye.

General CommentI disagree. I think the song is about the reverse of what you talk about joeynobody. I think it is about when people inflict injury upon us (intentionally) and we react by saying "cut me and i bleed" - like, "what the hell were you thinking was going to happen when you blew up on me?"

One of my favorites off this new album. It gets so intense right up to the end and then slowly ends like it began.

General Commentno no, thats not right. this song is talking about how everyone is the same on the inside "Cut me and I bleed, same as you do" If you cut someone they bleed. Mushroomhead is telling all the assholes who think they are better than everyone else that they are only human and that they are no better than anyone else, just because they are the fastes in track, or they've had 50 girlfriends doesn't mean they can walk on water.
