"Too Good To Be" as written by Cyrus William Bolooki, Chad Everett Gilbert, Ian R. Grushka, Stephen Lee Klein and Jordan I. Pundik....
I wonder what life would be like
If my shoulder could bare the weight
Of all this adding up, I feel the breaking point
It's close enough, it's feeling real again

You have my heart in your hands
You have my heart, so don't, don't let it go
Check my pressure, patch me right up
You're too good to be

It's true, we both make sacrifices
There's proof, it came as no surprise
It boiled up as we always let it do
We made it through again

You have my heart in your hands
You have my heart, so don't, don't let it go
Check my pressure, patch me right up
You're too good to be, yeah

You know you have my heart in your hands
You have my heart, so don't, don't let it go
You have my heart in your hands
You have my heart, so don't, don't let it go

Don't let it go, don't let it go
Check my pressure, patch me right up
You're too good to be
You're too good to be

General CommentTo tell the truth i hated this cd when it came out. A few months later i listened to it again and it struck me. It feels weird saying this since i've been a fan of this band since their local South Florida days (Bring back the "A"!) but this i think (eek!) this is their best album. Bar none. It finally sounds like they stopped being so juvenile. It was fun when we were all teenagers, but dammit we all grow up. To me in this cd they sound so comfortable, like this is the music they have been wanting to make all along. This is also their most solid cd from beginning to end. Give this album a fair chance and I'm sure all the NFG fans will fall in love with it like i did. Oh yeah and this is the best song in the album, along with "When I Die." :D

General Commentwhy has no one commented on this song? it's my favorite off of 'coming home', especially the group singalong towards the end.

as far as interpretation goes, i think it's about being involved with someone and not really knowing how they feel about you.
