They say we can't make it through
Too young don't know what to do
This life is much too hard for you and me
They say we're living in our dreams
Black white nothing in between
This world is never as it seems to be

But
They don't want this
They don't feel this
But
This was never theirs at all

So here, I stand, I'm ready for anything
Just, a man, but I'm giving everything
We're here only for a second and then
We're gone when we least expect it
So do more than survive
Let's live like we're alive

They say stay inside the lines
We've drawn and you'll be just fine
Don't take chances with your life
C'mon

But
They don't want this
They don't feel this
But
This was never theirs at all

So here, I stand, I'm ready for anything
Just, a man, but I'm giving everything
We're here only for a second and then
We're gone when we least expect it
So do more than survive
Let's live like we're alive

This song..... . . . . . .let me think.... . . . I like it . . . ... it captures the typical teenage mindset [or at least my mind set] ... you're in love. Want to get away and live your life but others say you'll never make it.

I think its refering to the previous generations [our parents] not understanding what the youths of today think and feel.

It's about moving on and starting a new life of your own, by standing outside the the guidelines boundries we are suppressed to.

"We live Only For a Second And Then We're Gone When We Least Expect it" ... great line... I like this song... good stuff... .. . . . . . . .

I think this song is speaking of walking in faith. That people want us to do things of the world, because it is logical, but they are not living by the word of God. He is saying that he is ready to give himself to God. Within the last lines, he is saying, you never know when it's your time to go. Live your life for God, because in an instant you can be taken out of this world.

[Music Faith] Could you tell me a little about the title track as well? [Josh Pearson] Yup, Live like were Alive, actually we wrote that song, for us, that song was about being in a band. Yknow when your in a band it takes a lot of opposition, sometimes people dont believe in you and they doubt you, and it gets hard, financially and emotionally, traveling all the time. When you know that God wants you to do something you have to do it with all your might and all your power. So thats why the chorus says Here I stand, Im read for anything, Im just a man, but Im giving everything. Thats what were called to do everyday, to give everything we have. To do what God calls us to do.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
