"Send My Love To The Dancefloor, I'll See You In Hell (Hey Mr. DJ)." as written by and Gabe/katz Saporta....
Let it go
There's no way you can save it now
Get back, you know that the city is burning
So the story goes
It makes you wonder
'Cause if we're trapped and we're never
Gonna find a way out,
Get out
We're gonna dance now

Hey Mr. DJ
You gotta put a record on, yeah
We're gonna bury this town tonight
We're gonna dance all night

Hey Mr. DJ
You gotta put a record on, yeah
We're gonna dance tonight
Dance tonight

I let you go
And I'm still waiting for you to find
There's nothing more
That this town that is right now
So the story goes
It makes you wonder
'Cause time is up
And you're never gonna get another
Chance now
You've gotta dance now

Hey Mr. DJ
You gotta put a record on, yeah
We're gonna bury this town tonight
We're gonna dance all night

Hey Mr. DJ
You gotta put a record on, yeah
We're gonna dance tonight
Dance tonight

Let it go,
The game is done
Camera's off
It can't be too hard
To fake it now
Gotta fake it now

Let it go,
There's no way you can change me now.
Get back, you know
I don't need you to save me
So the story goes

Hey Mr. DJ
You gotta put a record on, yeah
We're gonna bury this town tonight
We're gonna dance all night

Hey Mr. DJ
You gotta put a record on, yeah
We're gonna dance tonight
Dance tonight

So the story goes

I'm ready
I'm ready
Just get it calm and steady

Your ready
I'm ready
Just get it calm and steady(7x)

General CommentI dont really think I know what this is about, but I'm guessing that it's about a boy and a girl and they're just dancing. lol. It's straightfoward.

General Commentit basically starts off by saying if it all comes down to it and theres nothing left to do we'll just dance together and its just like were gonna party have a good time and just dance. the second verse is again saying if its over and theres nothing left to do and we know wer not gonna last much longer lets just dance and have a good night so our relationship can end on a high note, if you will. basically its about a relationship ending and they know it but its not said so their just gonna go out and have one more crazy no regrets night. my opinion anyways hope it helps

General CommentI think it's more so to do with the group, Cobra Starship themselves. They're celebrating that they're finally making it, they're letting go of the past and the struggles that they've gone through and now they're dancing - having fun. The bit about the cameras is about the whole fame thing, and people being cautious that the success may get to their heads - "I don't need you to save me."

Not sure how much sense that makes, but yeah, that's my take on it.

General CommentAt their ATL concert 6/14/07, Gabe said during the performance that Paul Wall was asking him if the line was
    "Hey Mr. DJ
I want to put it in Beyonce"
Gabe Saporta is such a sweet guy. He was just wandering around the concession area after their set and let us take a fan photo. Even shook our hands!
If you get a chance to see, Cobra Starship - don't miss it!
Also, check to see if he sings this song Paul-Wall-style!
