"House Of Wolves" as written by and Frank Iero Bob Bryar....
I know a thing about contrition
Because I got enough to say
And I'll be grantin' your permission
'Cause you haven't got a prayer

I said, hey hallelujah
Well come on, sing the praise
Let the spirit come on through ya
We got innocence today

Well I think I'm gonna burn in hell
Everybody burn the house down
She says well, what I wanna say
Tell me I'm an angel

Take this to my grave
Tell me I'm a bad man
Kick me like a slave
Tell me I'm an angel
Take this to my grave

S-I-N, S-I-N, S-I-N, S-I-N
S-I-N, S-I-N, S-I-N, S-I-N

Well a ring around the ambulance
Like I never gave a care
I said, choir boys surround you
It's a compliment, I swear

And I said, ashes to ashes, we all fall down
I wanna hear you sing the praise
I said, ashes to ashes, we all fall down
We got innocence for days

Well I think I'm gonna burn in hell
Everybody burn the outside
And says, ha, what I wanna say
Tell me I'm an angel

Take this to my grave
Tell me I'm a bad man
Kick me like a stray
Tell me I'm an angel
Take this to my grave

You better walk like the devil,
'Cause they're never gonna leave you

You better hide em in the alley
'Cause they're never gonna find you a home

And as the blood runs down the walls
You see me creepin' up these halls
I've been a bad motherfucker
Tell your sister I'm another
Go, go, go

And I say, what I wanna say
Tell me I'm an angel
Take this to my grave
Tell me I'm a bad man
Kick me like a stray
Tell me I'm an angel
Take this to my grave

Tell me I'm a bad, bad, bad, bad man
Tell me I'm a bad, bad, bad, bad man
Tell me I'm a bad, bad, bad, bad man
Tell me I'm a bad, bad, bad, bad man

So get up
So get out

S-I-N
S-I-N

My InterpretationI don't know why people think this song is mocking christianity. I can be wrong but his could be about a priest who visits the patient before he dies. The patient tells him
that blessing is pointless cause he knows he's going to hell because of what he's done and nothing can change that. "and as the blood runs down the walls/ you see me creepin up the halls" - these lines mean for me that he's even killed a man so nothing can save him. The patient tells the priest about his sins but he doesn't want other people to know how horrible things he's done- "I've been a bad mother******/ tell yer sister I'm another". He wants the priest to cheer him up and tell him that he's an angel, that he'll go to heaven. But he also knows he deserves to burn and to be called a "bad guy" and be "kicked like a stray". "I know a thing about contrition /Because I got enough to spare"- the patient says that he doesn't need the priest teaching him because he spares so much he has done so knows this feeling better than the priest. "I said, hey hallelujah/ Well come on, sing the praise /Let the spirit come on through ya/ We got innocence for days", "I wanna hear you sing the praise" - he says that priest's sins could be forgiven if he prays (the spirit could be The Holy Spirit). The patient tells him to do that cause he doesn't want the priest to end like him. "I said, choir boys around you/ It's a compliment, I swear"- I can't get this part. I only imagine the choir boys like clean, good creatures who sing for the priest cause he's such a good, religious person who doesn't have a lot of sins. So it could be a compliment."You play a ring around the ambulance/Like you never gave a care" - that's another line about patient's sins, this one says that he was just playing whith death and even didn't care about that. "You better walk like the devil,/
'Cause they're never gonna leave you/ You better hide em in the alley/
'Cause they're never gonna find you a home"- hmmm, that part could be about sins but I'm not sure. Like you have to run away and hide from sins cause they only wreck your life, but they're never leave you and you'll always make some. "So get up/ So get out"- the patient tells the priest to go out because the simply cannot make the patient's soul clean and all this visitation doesn't have a sense.

    So this song is about:
-the patient realising he is going to hell,
    -his conversation with a priest.

I'm Christian and I hope this lyrics don't go against my religion.

Tell me what do you think of this interpatation and I'm sorry it's so long.
