"Mary Jane" as written by John Madara, David White and Raymond Gilmore....
Mary Jane, Mary Jane
Please don't leave me baby
I'll just find you again
I asked my uncle
If I could go
Yes, yes, go out and take
Mary Jane to the picture show
But Uncle Bob sighed
He could not answer
He died one second before
in the arms of a go-go dancer
Mary Jane, Mary Jane
Please don't leave me baby
I'll just find you again
I want to roll you
Way down in the fields
Where you where born
I want to roll you
When I'm ragged and forlorn
You have no friend
You have no pet
If there's anything better than you
You know they haven't found it yet
Mary Jane, Mary Jane
Please don't leave me baby
I'll just find you again

General CommentObvious what this one is about. See "Sweet Leaf" or "Got to Get You Into My Life" (the latter one not so obvious).

General CommentRick James used his "Mary Jane" to slip the word marijuana past the sensors and i always wonder if the Spin Doctors were doing the same thing in verse one with how they emphasize "if i can" in verse one because i always hear it as the f word.
