"Generator" as written by and Bryn Fowler David Healey....
CHORUS:
I can get a record player, and a generator.
Generate the music that makes you feel better.

VERSE:
I dont live in poverty,
Ive got a little bit of money
And Ive got an healthy body
I am not gonna let stuff get me upset
And I wont get the little things get me depressed
When I was a young boy, I bought a stereo
We taped all the songs straight off the radio
The sounds the band made and the melody
Is all I need to make me feel free!

Sometimes you get so low you dont know why you are a little unsettled inside
Many I remind you that you dont live in poverty
Youve got your youth and youve got food in you belly

CHORUS:
I can get a record player, and a generator.
Generate the music that makes you feel better. (twice)

Youve got your youth and youve got a roof over your head

CHORUS:
I can get a record player, and a generator.
Generate the music that makes you feel better. (twice)

Ill set up a record player and a generator
Generate the music that makes you feel better

I can get a record player, and a generator.
Generate the music that makes you feel better.

So you better get a record player, and a generator.
Generate the music that makes you feel better

I can get a record player, and a generator.
Generate the music that makes you feel better.

So you better get a record player, and a generator.
Generate the music that makes you feel better

I can get a record player, and a generator.
Generate the music that makes you feel better.

General CommentThis song is totally immense.

    One correction, where you've put:
"When I was a young boy, I bought a stereo
We sang to all the words right out the radio"

    It should read:
"When I was a young boy, I bought a stereo
We taped all the songs straight off the radio"

General Comment@Danmagnet, Incorrect, the actual lyrics are: "When I was a young boy, I got a stereo
and taped all the songs straight off the radio"
