I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

i heard this shit the other day and bullet never ceases to amaze me. and idk if you wanna include it but in the beginning there's there Here It Goes Again!!!! and i think that first line could be What if,you always wait till .....something crave it? thought it'd be a good guess.
Anyways back to the topic: what would this song be about? As it is not on any of the big albums i guess it would express the feelings of one of the other bandmembers (so not Matt) although i dont know how the band members really relate to each other. Does anyone have some knowledge about this that could relate to this awesome song?

I think they're talking about someone that has always gotten what they wanted, either a friend or girlfriend, and they're asking them why they don't crave this one thing they don't want and they're saying they've never wanted that one thing. This may be implying the person is either 'spoiled' and saying that they don't know what it's like to spend their life working for what they've got... Anyways, yeah, that's what I think. ^^
