The lukewarm raindrops cause a deep wound, even to the innocent

a lie is born
and somewhere the lie becomes something else

someday, all the words, this day and everything else will get buried in the mistake
I hold dear to me, the blue and pure memory

My hope fades away from the angry tears
even the strength to live...
in a fit of passion I go crazy with grief
and so, I pray to the setting sun

burning from the inside
crying with pain
you can not save me

the lost sense of geneosity from the angry tears, is
the love given to me as I am born
the reason for my lost heart,
Must be my own weakness...?

it is the proof of sadness, caused by absolute justice

In the lukewarm rain which does not stop...

General CommentIf this isn't my favorite Dir en Grey song, it's definitely one of them. I love the wall of guitars in the intro and exit, they set this sort of overwhelming collapsing mood as the song launches into a sick, almost zombie lurch-like groove of euphoric destruction.... :)

I don't think you can truly make sense of it line for line (especially since it's translated) but it just seems to me like it's another song of theirs that reflects on self-loathing and depression... and how it sort of builds and twists inside you until it consumes you, and it feels so right just to self-destruct.

General CommentThe first lines comment on how the smallest things can make the innocent question themselves and thus lose their innocence.

This loss of innocence results in the realisation that one day, everything around him will be gone, and as such, in the LONG term, nothing matters. However, he tries to hold onto his memories.

Eventually, he can't hold on anymore and in a last attempt to create purpose for himself, "prays to the setting sun". The sun can't save him. Nothing can. However...

He DID have a purpose when he was innocent, as he was given love when he was born, and he used to feel genorosity from others. Therefore, it's his own fault he has no purpose.

I have to admit the line "it is the proof of sadness, caused by absolute justice" is beyond me.

All people lose innocence as little things will constantly cause innocence to be lost.

    That's what I think. Thanks.

Though, for me... it seems a bit off to listen to.
