"Sanctity of Brothers" as written by Mike Justian, Paul Mcgrath, Trevor Phipps, Ken Susi and John Maggard....
A west side run through
One string away from taking the lead
We stalked the streets at night
To live, to feel, to breath

Bring back those days of gold
Where the torch was ours to bare
A troubled youth to some
To us our crown to wear

I see a time
A sanctity of brothers
We knew another world
We knew another world

We knew another

A west side horror
A torch burned out
Before his own time
We close our eyes at night
To hurt, to heal, to breath

Bring back those days of gold
Where the torch was ours to bare
A troubled youth to some
To us our crown to wear

I see a time
A sanctity of brothers
We knew another world
We knew another world

Bring us back to the day
Bring us back to our age of innocence
Our time to live forever
Our worlds will meet again

Worlds

General Commentwell to start this whole cd is fucking great just like oncoming storm, it's about friends, best friends, & how no matter how fucked up you all are you still get eachother, but sometimes they get taken from eachother, by death & stuff beyond ones control, how you grow apart & how people you loved fade but you can't stand it all, & its to all the ones that are still there, i dont know how anyone can't relate to this song in thier own way

General CommentIt sounds a lot like The Outsiders-esque idea of close friendships and brotherhood and loyalty. The chorus sounds like the book as well, with "bring back those days of gold". In the book, Robert Frost's poem "nothing gold can stay" is quoted, and one of the characters tells the other to "stay gold", or stay youthful and innocent at heart. That's what this song means to me. The sanctity of boyhood friendships that became like brotherhoods, and yearning for those days of loyalty and fealty to one another.
