We all went home to search ourselves
There's no one left to feed us now,
We all want more then what we have
Just pick me up and let me down.

State your reason
For cushioning your fall,
I call it treason
Please share with me your thoughts.

I've learned to find
My place to hide
My circus of rust and lies,
We take it down
These holy ties
Just run away and follow blind.

Do you enter lives
Without knocking or warning?
Do you count the lies
And pace the night 'til morning?

General CommentUsually when I love a song I'll have two favorite parts, my favorite lyric and my favorite sound, sometimes they can be the same part. anyway, I love how he sounds during the chorus and I like the lyrics. My favorite lyric though is "do you enter lives without knocking or warning?" because it's so true sometimes it seems like certain people just "intrude" or burst into your life (in a good way!) and stay there......but my favorite sound is at the third to last chorus around 3:08 when he says " oh..oh..state your reason...oh." fantastic song!

General CommentI guess I am the only one who pays this song any attention. I really don't know what the whole song is about, but one day while I was absentmindedly listening to it something came to me (that's how it usually happens w/ me, once I stop thinking about it, it comes to me). Anyway this part:

    State your reason
    For cushioning your fall,
    I call it treason
Please share with me your thoughts

To me it seems like he's saying "why are you putting a wall between us and trying to protect yourself?" He feels it's a betrayal to him that she is not opening up and letting herself be vulnerable to him or their love or whatever.

    Just a thought.
