"Are You With Me" as written by Kenneth Gregory Daniels, Michael Joseph Mcchan, Ryder Evan Robison, Quentin James Smith, Christopher Jay Sorensen and Adam Michael Tymn....
There will come a time
They will pull you out
It's too late to change your mind

Off the record, I've been saying
Cut the cord that's hanging you
On the record, information
Pretty soon they're selling you

Are you with me
Nothing to trust in
You have the answers?
What are the questions
Are you with me
Are you with me now

One's in your class
One's a relative
They're just getting started
One waits in line (put you on)
One in the next car (put you on)

Off the record, I've been saying
Cut the cord that's hanging you
On the record, information
Pretty soon they're selling you

Are you with me
Nothing to trust in
You have the answers?
What are the questions
Are you with me
Are you with me now

    its an awesome song
it sounds like he thought someone believed in him
    but they stopped
and now he's not sure if he can trust them anymore
i mean, thats what it sounds like to me

    General CommentFERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF

okay, this song is most deffinitely about the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

i thought this up on my own so theres a fairly decent chance that im wrong, but here we go.

    There will come a time
    They will pull you out
It’s too late to change your mind

[ferris insisting to cameron that hes sick already, and hes had enough absenses in the first place to get suspended/expelled, so he might as well join him on his "day off"]

Off the record, I’ve been saying
Cut the cord that’s hanging you
    On the record, information
    Pretty soon they’re selling you

[cameron's homelife is stifeling, almost hanging him. He needs to get out from his genericly boring life and come with ferris]

    Are you with me
    Nothing to trust in
    You have the answers?
    What are the questions
    Are you with me
    Are you with me now
[obviously ferris trying to convince cameron into comign with him on his "day off"]

    ((repeat chorus))

    [describing solid characters]

    One’s in your class
    [Cameron]

    One’s a relative
    [sister Jeanie]

    They’re just getting started
    [principal rooney on his hunt]

One waits in line (put you on)
[sloane, because she is a year younger than ferris, she has to wait (in line) longer to graduate, and "put you on" sloane turns ferris on]

One in the next car (put you on)
[obviously ferris' dad, the scene when ferris and crew are in traffic, in the taxi right next to the one containing mr. bueller]

...and so on and so forth with repeated lyrics...

    just a thought. lol
