"Laissez-moi Tranquille" as written by and Serge/gainsbourg Gainsbourg....
Pour leur plaire aux femmes
Dites donc
Dites-moi Madame
Qu'ai je donc
Perfides ou sinceres
C'est selon
Quand faut s'en defaire
C'est coton

Avec une gueule pareille
Nom de nom
N'me manqu'aux oreilles
Des pompons
Et si je marchais a
Croupetons
J'aurais tout du pauvre A-Liboron

Laissez-moi
Laissez-moi tranquille
Laissez-moi
Laissez-moi
Laissez-moi tranquille
Laissez-moi

Allez sans esclandre
Mes chatons
Allez vous faire pendre
Allez donc
Ailleurs qu'a mon gilet
A quoi bon
Je n'suis pas le gibet
D'Montfaucon

Laissez-moi
Laissez-moi tranquille
Laissez-moi
Laissez-moi
Laissez-moi tranquille
Laissez-moi

General CommentFor those of you who speak French: Have a party.

Essentially, it's "Please, leave me be", or "Leave Me Alone".

General CommentNope. Don't speak any French, but I love the song regardless.
    Incredible musically, at least.

General CommentI went to Google Language tools and tried to trnslate the lyrics.
This is what it came up with:

    For their appeal to women
    Say So
    Tell Me Madam
    What I do
    Perfidious or sincres
    Depending
    When should it dfaire
    It is cotton

    With a mouth like
    Name name
    N 'I miss' ears
    Pompoms
    And if I walked
    Croupetons
    I have all the A-poor
    liboron

    Let me
    Leave me alone
    Let me
    Let me
    Leave me alone
    Let me

    Go without scandal
    My kittens
    Go hang
    Go therefore
    Also that my vest
    What good
    I 'm not the gallows
    D 'Montfaucon

    Let me
    Leave me alone
    Let me
    Let me
    Leave me alone
    Let me

General CommentThe problem with translation is that it's not actually French- it's Creole. And without a native speaker to translate, it's very difficult to get the proper meanings. Essentially, though, it pretty much does equal out to "Leave me be." which is a kind of motto for the culture along with the more well known Laissez les bon Temps Rouler (Let the good times roll).

Both are incredibly accurate for Warren, obviously.
