"Different World" as written by Stephen Percy Harris and Adrian Frederick Smith....
You lead me on the path
Keep showing me the way
I feel a little lost
A little strange today

I think I'll take a hold
Of whatever comes my way
Then we'll see what happens
Take it day by day

I thought I had it all
I had it all worked out
Just what my future held
That there would be no doubt

But then the card came up
And I took another turn
But I don't know if it's
Fulfillment that I yearn

Tell me what you can hear
And then tell me what you see
Everybody has a different way
To view the world

I would like you to know
When you see the simple things
To appreciate this life
It's not too late to learn

Don't want to be here
Somewhere I'd rather be
But when I get there
I might find it's not for me

Tell me what you can hear
And then tell me what you see
Everybody has a different way
To view the world

I would like you to know
When you see the simple things
To appreciate this life
It's not too late to learn

Tell me what you can hear
And then tell me what you see
Everybody has a different way

to view the world
I would like you to know
When you see the simple things
To appreciate this life
It's not too late to learn

Don't wanna be here
Somewhere I'd rather be
But when I get there
I might find it's not for me

Don't know what I want
Or where I want to be
I'm feeling more confused
The more the days go by

General CommentI am pretty sure this is about someone who is just coming into adulthood and is finally stepping into the real world. It is nothing as they had expected when they were young and now that the time has come for them to go out on their own they are a little bit confused as to what to do with they're life. Being confused they decide to take whatever comes to them, they don't like this but they are scared to actually go for what they think they want because they may not want it later.

Pretty good interpretation for a 15 year old eh?

General CommentMetal isn't satanic, that's one of the biggest stereotypes ever. Most metal bands I know of are ATHEISTIC. Atheism is the denial of such things (God, Devil..) and then some more. Big difference.

General Commentthis was the first song when i went to see them at earls court on the last date! i cant describe how much greatness that night was!

the AMOLAD album is all about war through the eyes of one person, this song is about the guy who has just been sent to war out of desperation

    "I feel a little lost
    a little strange today.

    I think I'll take a hold
    of whatever comes my way
    then we'll see what happens
    take it day by day"

but it just makes things worse and he dont know what to do now as described in the following

    "Don't wanna be here
    Somewhere I'd rather be
    But when I get there
I might find it's not for me

    Don't know what I want
or where I want to be
    I'm feeling more confused
the more the days go by"

P.S= heavy metal is not satanic!!

General CommentI think this song is about the every day person who's a little mucked up in the head after some complicated situation that they've been in, and that little by little they're learning that the complicated stuff in life isn't the most important, but the small things that make you happy and smile.

    everybody has a different way
    to view the world
