Are you wondering
wondering if I like you?
Or are you wondering
If I care at all
Cause all that you're getting
all that you're getting is glances
and if you're lucky, a stare

I know I feed your desires
to wear red lipstick and be dressed for the kill
Yeah, I know I feed your desires
Cause now you're murdering my soul

So you take off your glasses.
And highlight your lashes
and it's the beginning of a sad song
You lower your collar
I start to notice
and it's the beginning of a sad sad song

Well, I know I feed your desires
to wear red lipstick and be dressed for the kill.
Yeah, I know I feed your desires
Cause now you're murdering my soul

What have I created?
A criminal with good intentions
And all that you wanted was love.
But I didn't notice
and look where that got us
Well, I've become shallow and still you have no trace of the very thing that you wanted

I know I feed your desires
to wear red lipstick and be dressed for the kill
Yeah, I know I feed your desires
Cause now you're murdering my soul

I know I feed your desires
to wear red lipstick and be dressed for the kill.
I'm sorry I fed those desires
because I've been murdering your soul

General CommentThis is a story of Unrequited love.
The Guy (landon's part) knows his strong hold over this lady. He knows her oh too well.
"I know I feed your desires"
    leading to a superficial attraction
he realizes what hes doing and is sorry for it

"I'm sorry I fed those desires
because I've been murdering your soul "

he knows hes killing her by doing so
(leading her on...knowing most girls they start to doubt themselves and lowers their standard even though they are worth much more)

General CommentI agree with Itsnikki about this song being about unrequited love. The guy is leading the girl on by giving her glances and noticing her body when she does things like "lower her collar". I think that the girl makes a common mistake by being flattered by his attention and thinking that she could be winning his heart instead. I think he might even be taking advantage of her feelings so much that he gets physical with her. Or maybe, rather, he's just using her as some sort of trophy girl that makes him look good. Either way, I think that's why he feels so bad about it and says "now you're murdering my soul".
