Struck with discontent
But I could not abandon this
Cause I am sure I've learned my lesson
From the anger
To the loneliness
The bliss

A sudden change results in apathy
I couldn't let me fall apart
Because with time comes understanding
With understanding comes a change of heart

I swear you're running cause you've lost the hope
I swear you're running cause you've lost the hope
I swear you're running cause you've lost the hope
It's true
It's true

Pack your bags and leave
Lose all respect for where you're from
I can't rely on the divine in the blueprints
If you return it's cause you realized you're wrong

The stigma is there's disadvantages of the smallest in the greatest machine
If nothing else rely on sounds of the lighthouse
Cause it brings you back to the sea

I swear you're running cause you've lost the hope
I swear you're running cause you've lost the hope
I swear you're running cause you've lost the hope
It's true
It's true

I swear you're running cause you've lost the hope
I swear you're running cause you've lost the hope
Just anchor and hope
Have faith in your home

You'll find redemption in your home
(Redemption in your home)
You're always looking for more
The chance to open the doors is here
Be patient
Know that I'm sure it's coming

I swear you're running cause you've lost the hope
I swear you're running cause you've lost the hope
I swear you're running cause you've lost the hope
It's true
It's true

I swear you're running cause you've lost the hope
I swear you're running cause you've lost the hope
Just anchor and hope
Have faith in your home

Anchor and hope
Anchor and hope

General CommentThis is the guy's of the band representing their Rhode Island pride! OH YEAH! For everyone not from RI, it's the ocean state and we have an anchor on our flag. Beneath it is the word hope. So, Steve said that this song is about how before, he didn't appreciate his home state. And all he wanted to do was move far away and stuff. But, now he's grown to love it and realized everything that it has to offer. "Have faith in your home". Awesome song.
