"I'm Leaving You" as written by Rudolf Schenker and Klaus Meine....
Ooh, girl, I'm leaving you
Yes, I'm leaving you
I've got to go tonight
Ooh, girl, I'm leaving you
Yes, I'm leaving you, I've got to go
I can't stay

You shouldn't feel so blue
Shouldn't feel so blue
When I go tonight
Baby, you shouldn't feel so blue
Shouldn't feel so blue, when I'm gone
I can't stay

Keep me in your mind till I
Come back to love ya
Keep me in your mind till I
Come back to take you worlds away,
To take you worlds away, baby

Ooh, girl, I'm leaving you
Yes, I'm leaving you
I've got to go tonight
Baby, you shouldn't feel so blue
Shouldn't feel so blue, when I'm gone
I can't stay

Keep me in your mind till I
Come back to love ya
Keep me in your mind till I
Come back to love ya
Keep me in your mind till I
Come back to love ya

General CommentI believe that it is about him spending the night with his girlfriend and then having to leave. probably
to go on tour since it seems he's going away for more than a day.

General CommentA mystery has been solved!

I never knew the name of this song until today, when it came on Ozzy's Boneyard (I'm more into indie rock). When I first heard this song, I could not understand the chorus. What I heard was the following:

    Give in your mind
    Jedi
Come back to the love, yeah

I knew that had to be wrong--the idea of Scorpions singing about Star Wars was kinda silly. Not to mention, that first line is poor English, and the guys from Scorpions speak it better than that.

I also never heard the song on a decent system. Mostly, it was being played back on crappy overhead systems designed for paging people, with low volume, background noise, and garage reverb only making the sounds less distinct.

Anyway, I thought I'd share that for the potential amusement of others.

General Commentnot a scorpions fan per se, but I lost a beautiful friend tragically this summer and I play this song when the sadness starts to overwhelm. it's like him reminding me to smile through the tears. it's hard to feel sad with this blaring in the background.
