"Sacred" as written by and Martin Lee / Gore....
[Chorus]
Sacred
Holy
To put it in words
To write it down
That is walking on hallowed ground
I'm a missionary

So here is my confession
It's an obsession
I'm a firm believer
And a warm receiver
And I've made my decision
This is religion
There's no doubt
I'm one of the devout
Trying to sell the story
Of love's eternal glory

[Chorus]

Spreading the news around the world
Taking the word to boys and girls
I'm a firm believer
And a warm receiver
And I will go down on my knees
When I'll see beauty
There's no doubt
I'm one of the devout
Trying to sell the story
Of love's eternal glory

[Chorus]

General CommentThis might be completely off, but when ilisten to it, the last time the line, "of love's eternal glory" is sung, it sounds like he's saying DEATH'S eternal glory... and the last line he repeats at the end of the song, it sounds more like, "That is fucking on hallow ground"... I know it makes no sense, as the rest is accurate, but knowing Moonspell, it's quite possible. Why would they cover a song like this? They've got an album called irreligious, hellooo.

So can anyone clear this up for me? Am I deluded, or did someone else notice it as well?
