General Commenti knwo it's impossible to tell only from teh music exactly wut a song can be about, but judging by the title this is a peice conveying the emotion of how man has invente god, or teh idea of god, when it is possible the god that is found in religions couldn't be further from the truth. Maybe he is in anguish because he has lost his faith, hence the emotion brought forth in the song.

General CommentThis song's title may reflect the entire concept of the Colony album, since the album represents the "New World" after the one presented in Whoracle was destroyed, the world of Colony came into place where man was left to create their god.

General CommentI dunno lads... of coarse we only have three words to interpret on, but listen to the music from the point of view of a man, who has realised his own powers. his power to create, to destroy. his power to decide whats right, whats wrong, the power to understand, to help, and all the responsibilities of these powers, which every man has.

The individual is the closest thing on earth to a god. this ordinary person has realised this, and so is aware of his powers. he is now a man made into a god. that's the vibe i get from the music. a sense of self worth, empowerment, with all the compassion of a human. and after the first riff, the fast paced part, sounds like the struggles every man must go through in life, it then breaks out into another empowering riff, and the second time an accoustic piece which in me inspires the above mentioned feelings of self worth.

I'm repeating myself now. but i love this song.

Also, perhaps you could interpret it in the "morphing into Primal" way.
That this man has ACTUALLY BECOME GOD!
it's unlikely, and it's not how i chose to interpret it, but it would make sense.
The power expressed in the music are his new god like abilities, and the music also carries the compassion of a human, which this man hasn't shaken off.

    GODMAN!

(that was a conclusion i came to when i was drunk. I titled myself Godman and later made the association)

General CommentI feel it's just that Man has shyed (spelling?) away from the true creators and is worshipping his (man's)
    creations.

Much as we as a society worship technology, rather then religious faith.
