Writhing in love you swear
what you feel is real
Bending your every illusion
You fake it all too well
Numbing the mind rest inside
that hate left unspoken
Tasting the truth it's shy
afraid to be broken

And it's humbling
This pain you feel inside
And it's stuttering
These words that I must try

Seeing the unheard you know
that it cannot heal
Breaking the bonds you swear
that you swear to feel
Can you awake from sleep downed
you allow me to steal
Gagging on selfish hide
when you crawl to kneel

And it's humbling
This pain you feel inside
And it's stuttering
These words that I must try

And I'm choking on love
I made you feel

It's Maynard. My friend and I think if God would sing (and existed, but that's not relevant) he would sound like that. lol.

FUCK GUYS IT'S LIVING SYNDICATION GIVE THEM THE CREDIT THEY DESERVE - I downloaded this song a year ago, and fell in love with LS. And I'm sick of everyone thinking it's pefect circle. (They are amazing too) But give the credits to the right band -.-

Ahahahaha oops that was a tad mean! I thought this was a perfect circle too at first... As Alternative said... spread the word! I gotta wonder who puts all these songs as APC on the downloading networks...

my guess is someone who just wanted to spread their music, not caring about who the credit goes to. The singer does resemble maynard and APC is a popular band, therefore anyone who wanted to get these songs out to the world quickly would put them down under APC. Though Tool is more popular than APC the instruments in any of LS songs doesnt come close to resembling adam, justin or danny

These fucks wanted to become known so they pretended they were APC...fucking LOSERS. Even if I liked them, just that would keep me from ever buying any of their music. And as for "giving them the credit they deserve"...that's bullshit. They deserve absolutely no credit after fucking everything up like that.

i think i can agree with chevelle to a certain extent. it was stupid to try and piggyback on the popularity of another band like apc cuz they sound slightly similar. it also shows how un-unique they are. but at the same time i think songs like believe from this band are actually well written. but to me they have been permanently marked as pathetic for their action

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
