"Lullaby to an Anxious Child" as written by and Dominic James Sting/miller....
Hush child,
Let your mommy sleep into the night until we rise
Hush child,
Let me soothe the shining tears that gather in your eyes

Hush child,
I won't leave I'll stay with you to cross this Bridge of Sighs
Hush child,
I can help the look of accusation in your eyes
In your eyes

The world is broken and now
All in sorrow
Wise men hang their heads

Hush child,
Let your mommy sleep into the night until we rise
Hush child,
All the strength I'll need to find, I'll find inside your eyes
In your eyes

General CommentI’m trying to avoid the look of accusation in your eyes …
    Sure you are.
I am. We aren’t friends anymore.
What’s with you? Are you lonely or something?
Lonely? Why would you think that?
Are we ready for the Rapture or whatever that was?
You are talking in circles, my dear.
    Don’t call me my dear.
    Quit growling at me.
Okay. Let’s start over. Gee, it’s a lovely day to die, or so you’ve told your followers.
Now we’re getting somewhere. I didn’t tell them that. I told them nothing. They made this up.
I don’t really believe you but if you are correct then why don’t you do some apparition thing and tell them you never told them to blow other people up.
    I can’t. They’d be scared.
So what? They are scaring other people and creating chaos. I am not fond of chaos.
    And who are you?
Someone not fond of chaos? Uh, wait. I’m also playing Love. Want love to get crazy in the hearts of your intense ones, bucko? Sounds brilliant to me. They’ll be thinking of nothing but love.
You are hilarious. Who takes you seriously?
No one but who cares? I don’t.
    You’re useless.
    Um… yeah, I am.
    Love doesn’t matter to some.
I’ll take that risk. I am not fond of chaos and while you were cooling your heels near me ….
You tossed love on me. Makes no difference …
No? Uh, right … of course love never makes a difference. What was I thinking?
    What were you thinking?
Me? Nothing. Nonsense. This is nonsense. Just ignore me.

General CommentI’m trying to avoid the look of accusation in your eyes.
    You said that before.
    It’s still there.
I know … what a little witch I am. But since copping an attitude will solve nothing I started thinking much more constructively … Ignore me. Ignore us. There is nothing intriguing about any of us crazy people who indulge in entertainment and play with computers. We are boring. Enormously boring. Our hairstyles and fashions are boring. Our conversations are not worth listening to—we never have anything to say.
Might I ask what you are doing?
Hmmm? Why would you be curious? I’m not doing anything. I am boring. We are boring. We are boring all over the world. There is no need to pay attention to us. Our religions are boring. We are not interested in yours.
You are up to something and I know what it is. Not bad …
You could have thought of it on your own! Aren’t you being a bit lazy?
Come to think of it, yes. But then, you’re around. Just a clue kid—missionaries may not be fond of this.
It’s impossible to please everyone. I’m visualizing something like Kandor or Brigadoon. What do you think?
I’m laughing. You are so nuts!
Um … Kandor—wouldn’t that be sweet? The Pied Piper dances all of your more intense devotees into a magical mythical kingdom where music, films, fashion models, and the Internet do not inhibit the faithful from focusing solely on your splendor and they live happily ever after ignoring those of us who weren’t privy to their splendid miracle.
    I am so amused… You’re serious …
    Who is?
    Well are you?
    Am I what?
    Serious?
    Who said I was serious? I didn’t.
    Then what?
    Huh?

General CommentJust a small glimpse of a moment in the life of a family. A father is explaining and trying to comfort his child. Maybe the child is confused because someone tried to hurt him or his family or maybe it was just a simple nightmare. Either way there appears to be sorrow or fear and many tears. The child looks to his father to convey that all is right with the world. There is a bond of trust between them. They find strength in each other and its touching that the father is handling the situation and realizing his wife is weary, he shows is being caring and concerned for her as well. Very, very sweet.
