...and in the corner of this room
lucifer's now observing
I'm swaggering past the wall of fiends
surely it makes her nervous

What a grand spree
just like the old times
everyone is here

what's in the bag exchanging hands
the actions are somewhat cloudy
don't wanna know so let's just dance
billy is screaming loudly

let's turn it 'round
bring ceilings down
and fall in love again.

Who was that actor next to her
that everyone seems to know of
an angel is whispering (well deserved)
you made the choise to blow it all up

that's a new dress
she's heaven sent
she wasn't sent for me

Let's turn it 'round
bring the ceilings down
and fall in love again

General CommentFrom the band (forgot where I cut & pasted it from, sorry!): A song to the Jewel that slipped out of your hands while you were too busy concentrating on other, less important things. The album version is the second incarnation of a song which initially had a more raw feel to it. When the band entered the studio with Tony Visconti it was suggested that they revisit the arrangement and eventually a more dreamy and Cure-esque sound emerged. The question is; can you fall back in, once you’ve fallen out of love?

General Commentwhat's in the bag exchanging hands.... sounds alot like a song about drug addiction. but i seem to find drung connections with a lot of songs so it could be just me?

General Commentim seeing a crummy bar where the protagonist is getting angry glances from drug fiends lining the walls, but then he doesn't really care because he has a girl by his side and he just wants to dance the night away.
