"Loving You" as written by and Paolo Giovanni/duguid Nutini....
Pack up loneliness, and hello tenderness.
I've been waiting for your call for so long,
And it must have been hard just to follow your soul.
To stick to the road that your heart wants you to go,
And as you slide through the door
With your morals on your sleeve.
I think it's time for all those morals to leave
Let's get down and freaky baby,
Let's get restless baby.
Come on get crazy with me.

[Chorus]
And I see when you're loving me, I'm loving you.
I love the prowess in the things that you do.
And it's your flawless soul that bleeds my stone.
And when you're loving me, I'm loving you,
And that's when we've got it going on.

So many people think we've got it wrong,
They all try to break us but we won't play along.
So let's get down and dirty baby,
Let's get restless baby.
Come on get crazy with me.

[Chorus]

I was so stranded, I was lost and abandoned,
And I needed another home.
And flew into your arms,
And just flew right into my arms.

[Chorus]

It's your flawless soul that bleeds my stone.
And when you're loving me, I'm loving you,
And that's when we've got it going on.

General CommentHe is amazingly talented. I love everything I hear from. An incredible voice and so handsome. Why isn't he on the top of the charts in the US? His music is timeless.

The meaning of this song is pretty clear. Very sexy!

My OpinionTo say it is about sex is incredibly simplistic.

I have very personal takes on this beautiful song but really for me, having been hurt and even maybe saying never again.. life brings what the heart wants whether you are looking or not. She just flew into his arms and it was just right

It is about sex too, but not just some girl he has a thing for. It's about when there is that incredible connection there that elevates good sex to being something more.

For me, the Pack up lonliness and bleeds my stone, talks of putting up walls after being hurt and being lonley, when she managed to get through them to him. You cant get blood from a stone but she has somehow got love from his heart.

And then yes, he wants to get down and dirty with her. But like I say it isnt just sex.
