in the yard after classes,
he came and broke your glasses.
bloodthirsty grins for a stir in a quiet kid.
and you were shaking afraid,
you had something to say.
but when the words crawled toy our throat,
they just dripped from your face.
so go on and drip.

so whatcha gonna do anout it, kid?
stop stuttering, stuttering.
give me that sweet reaction...

i dare not deny cliche conventions,
i'll just take in stride your need for attention.
and i'll be the step and you can be the one steppin'.
i'd rather be a wound,
if your what it's like to be a weapon.

born with a heart 10 times to big,
and if you wear it on your sleeve
you're just asking for it to get hit,
so be satisfied when i tell you, you win.
you win.
you win.
you WIN.

so whatcha gonna do about it, kid?
stop stuttering, stuttering.
give me that sweet reaction...

(enough. i'm tired of this shit!
same old thing since we were kids.
push and the pull,
push and the pull,
action reaction.)

    General CommentReeeally, good song.

"born with a heart 10 times to big,
and if you wear it on your sleeve
you're just asking for it to get hit,"
Pretty self explainitory I'd say. Basically, if you have a big heart and you give it away, you're just asking to get hurt.
    Kinda sad.
One of those "Why do bad things happen to good people" kind of things.

General CommentThis is one of my favourite songs.
I expected him to scream when singing 'you win.'

    "i'd rather be a wound,
if you're what it's like to be a weapon."

    :]
