please be careful when you open your eyes.
you can't escape it; you're alive.
against our outspread hate, it's never been easy.
monday morning, you wake up,
that's a fact, but not a matter of life and death.
and one day fortune will come knock at your door.

when you wake up with a smile
you can't escape it; you're alive.
you put your troubles in a box
to store away from children.

i don't think about you anymore.
i don't care what you do.
i don't care who you love.
you're not even a ghost.

when you wake up with a smile,
you can't escape it; you're alive.
you put your troubles in a box to store away from children.
in a cardboard box.
in a cardboard box.
in a cardboard box.

i love this song, especially the chorus - i think this part would be more correct this way: "You can't escape it - you 're alive Against our outspread hate. It's never been easy. One day morning you wake up - That's a fact, but not a mater of Life and death. And one day fortune will Come knock to your door."
