This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.
Turn up the radio
I need it now more that ever
It's the first snow of the year
And something in the atmosphere is coming here
Froze our memories again
Soon you'll forget but I just can't
I remember
I remember everything
All the times when no one ever came to get me
All the nights when I was scared
And when it got to weird
It was the song that saved me
I remember, remember everything
All the tracks that shaped and changed me
Inside of speeding cars
And lying on your floor
When we were living in a broken world
We turned it up and the we watched the city burn
I remember, remember everything
All the times when no one ever came to get me
All the nights when I was scared
And when it got too weird
And I can't forget
And I can't forget
And I won't forget
Froze in our memories again
Soon you'll forget but I just can't
I remember, remember everything
All the times when no ever came to get me
All the nights when I was scared
And when it got too weird
It was the sogns that saved my life
It was the songs that saved me
I need it now more that ever

All the nights when I was scared

It was the song that saved me

@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday".
I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
Magical
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
Plastic Bag

Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it.
“I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
There are so many different forms and types of songs each having a different meaning and everyone can find a song that relates somewhat to them and when you have no one at least you have music. Music can't leave you like friends, it doesn't go away if its not pulled out and listened to for awhile, it will always be there.
But don't forget the songs That made you cry And the songs that saved your life -"Rubber Ring", The Smiths
I think this song is an answer to Morrisey's plea to remember the songs that helped you grow up, even if you've outgrown them; letting him know that he remembers.
My thoughts exactly, about remembering the songs/artists that helped you get through.
Kind of inspired me to go back & listen to the songs that saved my life as well. these boys are amazing, they're gonna make it huge because they are uncomparable to any artist out there today.
This is pretty self-explanitory. Music means a lot to us nowadays, and there is probably one song that is really special to us or may be able to relate to. Maybe there's a song that we listened to in tough times. I guess this is what Mat was talking about. ...Or is there a hidden meaning in it??
I doubt this song has a hidden meaning. It just talks about sometimes you need to relate to music to feel good about yourself like your not the only one going through that... I know i can relate to this song because sometimes you really need to blast the music to get through a tough day.
I agree with The Smiths reference. Only, there's one little line that seems rather specific: "All those times when no one ever came to get me..." If the writer was referring to a girlfriend or buddy, he'd probably say "to pick me up".
My first impression on hearing that one line was of a memory of a child waiting for a parent to pick them up who never shows. They are waiting there at the curb, listening to their walkman (or ipod, depending on your age), watching it get darker and colder, and wondering why they were forgotten again and how they should get home. And thank God they have their music, at least.
This happened to me several times in Jr High school, and listening to this song brought it all back.
I'll remember everything All those times when no one ever came to get me
i can relate to that so well. i used to do clubs and stuff after school and my parents would almost never pick me up. i had to get rides from the councilors, and people there with me eventually started asking their parents everyday if they could pick me up if i needed a ride. teachers were always asking me if i need help... haha. i kind of did actually. but i get over it, you know?
all the nights that i was scared.
i can also relate to that, my parents can get crazy sometimes. its sad when a kid has to lock themselves in a bathroom.
i can relate to basically the whole song, because music got me through ALL of it. it still does. i dont think i could live without music. i need it almost everyday. its like when you listen to music, you get in a different world, like the world of the song. and then it helps you escape the hell that you are actually in.
this song is about times when you hate all of your friends, your family, you dont have the motavation to do anything, and just want to die. When you get this bad, music can really help. Especially songs like this lol.
I love this song. It's exactly how I feel. Without my favorite bands & songs, I don't know where I'd be today.
