Jetzt sind wir wieder hier
Bei dir oben auf'm Dach
Die ganze welt da unten kann von mir aus
Untergehen heute Nacht
Sind wir zum letzten mal zusammen
Es hat doch grad' erst angefangen

Wenn dieser Tag der letzte ist
Bitte sag es mir noch nich'
Wenn das das Ende für uns is'
Sag's nich'
Noch nich'

Ist das etwa schon der Tag danach
Wo alle Uhren still stehen
Wo's am Horizont zu ende ist
Und alle träume schlafen gehen
Sind wir zum letzten mal zusammen
Es hat doch grad' erst angefangen

Wenn dieser Tag der letzte ist
Bitte sag es mir noch nich'
Wenn das das Ende für uns is'
Sag's nich'

Sag's nich'
Noch nich'

Wenn dieser Tag der letzte ist
Bitte sag es mir noch nich'
Und wenn du bleibst dann sterbe ich
Noch nich'
Noch nich'

Ist das der letzte Regen
Bei dir oben auf'm Dach
Ist das der letzte Segen
Sag's nich'
Noch nich'

Das ist der letzte Tag

This song in english is sooooo cool! Very catchy but I do prefer the German one. (I don't speak German) Even though it has the same like tune, whatever. But Bill is hot in the music video. And when our final day has come Let's pretend to carry on And if the end has now begum Live On!!! Live On!!! I love this song

This song was wrote about dying. Yes, dying. Bill always said that if he were to die, he didn't want to know when. He didn't want to know the date. That's why in the song he says not to tell him if the end is near, just live on, like nothing's going to happen. He wants to live in the moment, and keep on enjoying life, not knowing when the end will come.

I was also thinking that in the song he doesn't want to know when it will end, that he wants to enjoy life to the fullest and not worry about when he will die.

    Song Meaning

I don't think it's about dying... No... I think it's about break up.. He know that she wants to break up with him... but he doesn't want to...

Wenn dieser tag der letzte ist Bitte sag es mir noch nicht Und wenn du bleibst dann sterbe ich Noch nicht- noch nicht When this day is the last Please, don't tell me that yet And when you stay, than I will die Not yet- not yet

That means the last day which they'll spend together... And she wants to break up with him, he knows it, but he doesn't want to (as I said already) ... She will deal with the break up, but he won't >> Und wenn du bleibst dann sterbe ich

But truly, I don't think there is a deeper meaning...

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
