Allright, let's do this

1, 2, 3, 4

I want a cup that overflows with love, although
It's not enough to fill my heart
I want a barrel full of love, altough I know,
It's not enough to fill my heart
I want a river full of love, but then I know
The holes will still remain
I need an ocean full of love, although I know
The holes will still remain

And this Swiss cheese-heart knows, only kindness can fill its holes
Love can dry my tears, as pain disappears

I need a miracle and not someone's charity
One drop of love from him and my heart's in extacy
The high that is sending me is most likely ending me
I need a miracle and not someone's charity now

Fill up my heart with love, boy you'd be amazed at how
Little I need from him to feel complete here and now
Stirring within me are these feelings I can't ignore
I need a miracle and that's what I'm hoping for

I need a miracle and not someone's charity
One drop of love from him and my heart's in extacy
The high that is sending me is most likely ending me
I need a miracle and not someone's charity now

Oh babe, babe
My babe

Anybody's love but his will never fill this space within me
Now doctor give me what I need to free my heart from miseryyy~

Title says all. ^_^ She wants love.

Not just anyone's though, someone specific in her life.

I'm wondering how this song even relates to the game though. Heather mentions no love interest (unless she means her father but the song doesn't really convey a family kind of love >_>)

I see this song and wonder how Akira could compose such a poetic and marvelous masterpiece. This has no relevence to the game of Silent Hill 3. I am thinking that this song was put onto the soundtrack because of the style of the song. It is a great way to end a CD!

The woman in this song has a deep yearning for a certain man. I know this is an obvious statement but there is more. He almost deprives her of his love (possibly unintentional, she hasn't told him yet.) I am guessing that they flirt and he is a great friend of hers that she is JUST starting to think of as MORE THAN a friend. She has had past relationships with different people and they all meant nothing (especially compared to this feeling she has towards her "friend") and he is the only person she has ever loved. He is the only one that can fill her, make her. She finally knows love but will he love her?

another way to read it is that this man she's looking for is the one that could fill the holes the darkness put in her when she was remade and while she dones not know this she can feel it giveing the reasion for her deepressed look thew the game. so she hopes this man could take the darkness ways cause shes tryed her self but can't stop the pain. the high thats ending her could be the loss of her human half and it would see like it would take a miracle man to save her.

Acording to "The Book of Lost Memories", this song is talking about sorrowfulness.

It does sound like a woman is interested in a cirtain man who rejects her, like alyssaelaine said. That could be like Heather and Stanley in the game, exept Heather is a woman and Stanley is a man, so its reversed.

It could also tie in with Heather (and/or Douglas, because this song plays in a scene with him talking about his son) losing a very important person to her. That would explain the sorrowfulness.

I don't know. I'm just sort of rambling.

My opinion doesn't matter much, but I think she wants her father's love above all other love. Since...

    (SPOILER!)

Harry died in the game, then Douglas must be the substitute. It's kind of like Heather is asking him to love and care for her until she's old enough to live on her on.

Well Heather pretty much is old enough to live on her own seeing as she's able to cope with going out for half the day by herself.

But I really think that the song is indirectly talking about Alessa wanting to feel loved by her mother Dahlia.

Or it could also be about Claudia wanting to feel loved by Lenard as Vincent stated that she was abused by him.

I moreso think it's the second theory as I think that McGlynn's voice sounds simmilair to Claudia's.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
