"It's Not Your Fault" as written by Cyrus William Bolooki, Chad Everett Gilbert, Ian R. Grushka, Stephen Lee Klein and Jordan I. Pundik....
It was a cold California,
Even in the summer,
She was wrapped in a blanket by the pool,
There were rapid statements,
About life commitments,
A sense of heat that I couldn't bare to touch,
I couldn't bare it.

It's not your fault so please stop your crying now,
It's not your fault so please stop your crying now,
Please stop your crying now,
Woah,
Woah.

There was staring and seclusion,
A fine tuned way of motion,
A face wrapped for a suitor,
The sound of hearts pumping at the same beat,
Coming 'round the corner,
In almost all directions,
A sense of heat that I couldn't bare to touch,
No, I couldn't bare it.

It's not your fault so please stop your crying now,
(It's not your fault so please stop your crying now)
It's not your fault so please stop your crying now,
(It's not your fault so please stop your crying)

Now you, wait for, something, to cure this,
Well I'm here, under your downpour.

No, woah.

It's not your fault so please stop your crying now,
It's not your fault so please stop your crying,
It's not your fault.

It's not your fault so please stop your crying now,
(It's not your fault so please stop your crying now)
It's not your fault so please stop your crying now,
(No, woah)
It's not your fault so please stop your crying now,
(No woah, no woah) (It's not your fault so please stop your crying now),
It's not your fault, stop crying now,
(No...)

General CommentThis song is so heart breaking it took me months to be able to listen to it on the album. I think it is about a relationship in which there the guy and girl start out just plain old in love. As the relationship progresses, he understands that she sees the relationship heading towards something more permanent. She wants something that he can't give her, but she doesn't see this.

Eventually, even while she is deeply in love with him, he knows he has to break it off. Allowing it to continue would only be unfair to her. He knows the problem is his inability to commit, but she thinks that there is something wrong with her. To her, there must be some reason for this, something she can do ("something to cure this"). If there is a reason behind it, then it is something she can fix, something she can change. She can make it work if she only knew what she had done wrong. He tells her "it's not your fault" because he doesn't want her to think that this is because of a problem with her. And he begs her to stop crying because he can't bear causing her this kind of pain.

General Commentit sounds like one of those premature first relationships where those feelings are so pure and innocent...
like those butterflies and rapid heart beats you get when you meet someone you really like.
i think ultimatly it is about a breakup,,,,a love that eventually went sour,,, but it brings back those feelings..
    i love the beggining....

"it was a cold california, even in the summer"

its such a perfect song for young love.

General CommentI may be biased but this song didn't really hit home until I got married. I basically think this song is about a guy and a girl that used to date and she ends up with someone else and is about to get married but ends up having a conversation with her true love and he basically tells her he'll be there not matter what happens.

General CommentLooks like Jordan got a bit better at singing. It wasn't bad before, but now he sounds really good. This song is pretty good, though it was definitely a different sound than I expected when I heard there was new NFG.
