you wanted to be a big rock star
with lots of money and fancy cars
so you could put a gun to your head
pull the trigger you're better off dead
cause you lie lie
your life's a big lie
then you try try
you know you never tried
and then you cry cry
you say you wanna die
well i say die die
and check yourself in at
the motel killafornia
motel killafornia
motel killafornia
motel killafornia

you needed someone to hold your hand
you needed someone to understand
i only understand one thing
you are nothing but a weak human being
because you lie lie
your life's a big lie
then you try try
you know you never tried
and then you cry cry
you say you wanna die
well i say die die
check yourself in at
the motel killafornia
motel killafornia
motel killafornia
motel killafornia

you needed someone to hold your hand
you needed someone to understand
i only understand one thing
you are nothing but a weak human being
because you lie lie
your life's a big lie
and then you try try
you know you never tried
and then you cry cry
you say you wanna die
well i say die die
check yourself in at
the motel killafornia
motel killafornia
motel killafornia
motel killafornia

General CommentOk like a lotta FDQ songs the title is a parody of another song, this time obviously Hotel California by the Eagles.

Now the use of Motel instead of Hotel is quite interesting, (well to me anyway) firstly, Motels are traditionally cheap and nasty, a lot like FDQ themselves.

Also, the movie Psycho (directed by Alfred Hitchcock), which Wednesday is undoubtdly a fan of (it involves cross-dressing and murder) has a lot of the key action, such as the infamous shower scene taking place at the Bates Motel.
