"Bad Science" as written by Tim Kasher, Matthew Ryan Maginn, Clint Frederick Schnase and Ted James Stevens....
Moms and dads break up their gangs
Take away their rollerskates
Give them algebra and trig
Raisins, dates, or figs
But take away the gingerbread and cake

Every husband, every wife, every cop, every teacher
Everybody do the taking away
Every law, every curfew, every Bible-branded textbook
Watch the kiddies do the breaking away

Moms and dads say, "No more bands
No side projects, no solo careers
No young love
No kissing fish
No pets at all
No fun
And I think we've had enough art, Mr. Marks"

Every molecule, every atom
Every single particle down to the quark

Do the breaking apart!

No skateboards, no swimming pools
Until you've finished your state-approved chemistry
Kid! Break it down to the electron and the quark
And please tell us what happens when the particles spark

Every molecule, every atom
Every single particle down to the quark

Do the breaking apart!

General CommentI think it might be it's "down to the core", but quark would work I suppose
    "every bible read, ever teacher"
and alot of stuff is wrong I think, but it's not a bad shot at it really

General CommentIt's definitely "quark." "Quark" makes way more sense.

General Commenti think the beginning line is wrong but i can't figure it out either..."And drink away their rollerskates
Give them alcohol, food and drink" = "and take away their rollerskates. give them algebra and trig

General CommentI could be wrong. But there are a couple of parts I hear different..

Moms and dads break up their gangs,

    Give 'em algebra and drink

And I think I've had enough art.

General CommentMoms and Dads break up their games.
    And take away their rollerskates.
An' give them algebra and trig...
    Raisins, steaks, or figs,
but take away gingerbreak and cake.

Every husband, every wife, every cop, every teacher, everybody -- do the takin' away, AND DO THE TAKING AWAY!
