"What We Came Here For" as written by Michael D. Woods, Noelle Leblanc, Michael Boucher Vasquez and David Dustin Hengst....
Everything I thought I knew
changed the day that I met you
all my rides and fake tattoos
I thought we were so damn cool

I'd get right back on the aeroplane
the greyhound bus the subway train
if I thought it'd ease the pain

I'm not someone you ignore
give us what we came here for
pick my heart up off the floor
give us what we came here for
nothing less and nothing more
just give me what I came here for

Every time I look at you
I forget what I'm supposed to do

I can turn around and walk away
and break my heart but who's to say
you'll notice anyway

I'm not someone you ignore
give us what we came here for
pick my heart up off the floor
give us what we came here for
nothing less and nothing more
give me what I came here for
nothing less and nothing more
give me what I came here for

One step in and one step out
one thing's clear beyond a doubt
I had happiness and now I'm just about
to watch it burn

I'd get right back on the aeroplane
the greyhound bus the subway train
if I thought it'd ease the pain
if I thought it'd ease the pain

I'm not someone you ignore
give us what we came here for
pick my heart up off the floor
give us what we came here for

I'm not someone you ignore
give us what we came here for
pick my heart up off the floor
give us what we came here for
nothing less and nothing more
give me what I came here for
nothing less and nothing more
give me what I came here for
nothing less and nothing more
give me what I came here for

General Commenti think it's fairly simple:

    fell in love.
    got the relationship.
    didn't get the love back.
    got pissed, heartbroken.

probably my favorite song of theirs.

General Commentyeah, i just got dumped, and this song is like exactly it because he asked me out when i hinted i liked him and then he was like "uh...no i dont like you as more than a friend" and it's like well fine. I'm better than you anyway. AWESOME song.

General CommentI kinda think this has to do with someone secretly loving someone, but the "lovee" hates the "lover", thus breaking her heart. Then maybe the guy(lovee)has kinda a "I love you, then hate you" kinda thing goin on with the chick (lover)
