"Tin Man" as written by and Landon Pigg....
I don't know why I do what I
I don't know why I do what I do
It feels so good to me
I guess that's why I do what I
I guess that's why I do what I do
‘Cause it feels good to me
And it's right there for the taking
With a hammer and a nail, a man left to die
With a hammer and a nail, I eat this coconut
Yeah, it's true
I'm looking at the sunset wondering ‘So what?'
The tin man's got nothing on me
Heart I hope you wake up soon

I don't know why I feel like I should change
I don't know why what I need and what I want can't be the same thing
I don't know why I don't miss my friends
I don't know why I cannot comprehend how special love can be
And it's right there for the taking

With a hammer and a nail, a man left to die
With a hammer and a nail, I eat this coconut
Yeah, it's good
I'm looking at the sunset wondering ‘So what?'
The tin man's got nothing on me
Heart I hope you wake up soon

The tin man's got nothing on me

With a hammer and a nail, a man left to die
With a hammer and a nail, I eat this coconut
Yeah, it's good
I'm looking at the sunset wondering ‘So what?'
The tin man's got nothing on me
Heart I hope you wake up soon, please

That is a great line. I haven't even ever heard this song but now I feel like I have to hear it.

General CommentLike the Tinman, he's missing his heart. He does terrible things just because it's easy and he can. He experiences beautiful scapes but feels no emotion. He feels like happiness, friendship and love are all close to him, and he knows he should value them, but he can't connect. He wants to be better, but he's stuck in a void.

General CommentIs he denying that he's a 'tin man' ? Because he says that "the tin man's got nothing on" him.
    Hmm. Just wondering.

General CommentI love this song. And it means that the tin man couldn't compete with him, i.e. he's more "heartless" than the tin man, I suppose. It's a great song. :D

General CommentThis song is about numbness and indifference.

General CommentI think the lyrics suggest a heart has been hurt so many times, his love cast aside one too many times that his heart is no longer capable of identifying love, or keeping it.
