"I'm There Too" as written by and Michelle Featherstone....
I see myself in you
In everything you do
And when you’re all alone at night
You know I am by your side
'Cause I’m there too

I see me in your eyes
And I’m tears you cry
And when you fall apart
And I’m dying from a broken heart
I’m there too

I see your footsteps in the sand
As you journey on across this land
But if you should fall on your way
Then I will carry you that day
'Cause I’m there
I’m there too
Yeah I’m there too

I see your face in mine
And I know there’ll come a time
When you will take my hand
And I will understand
That you’re there too
When you will take my hand
And I will understand
That you’re there
You’re there too

General Commentthis song reminds me SO much of this guy I am so in love with. He is going through a lot of stuff, and we just aren't in the right time or place to be together. So, I am his friend and I am there for him, and I know one day he will "be there too" :]

General CommentI love this song. I was having a hard time yesterday, and I was just searching songs on youtube and came across this one. I adore it. I think the meaning of this song is just being there for eachother. It tells you that there are so many people in this world, but you are never alone. The whole song is just explaning how people are in the same situation as you are. Good song :]
    I love michelle featherstone.

General CommentI don't think this song is romantic at all.

I think most likely, it's God talking to humanity/you. Featherstone mentions footprints in the sand, which is a pretty well-known poem about God's love. The speaker of the song is God, and He sees himself in humanities tears and weakness and dark hours, and is always there with them/us.

At the end of the song, God is saying that someday we'll realize He's with us, and in that moment, we're with Him, too. Slash that's when we go to Heaven.

The first time I listened to the lyrics, I saw it as a deceased parent talking to their child. Especially the line "I see myself in you". To me it was the parent saying, I know it's really hard, and you can't see me, but I'm really there.
