"Kettle's On" as written by Daniel Giles Sells, Richard Peter Jones, Kevin Francis Jeremiah, Paul Ronald Stewart and Ciaran David Jeremiah....
I turn on the tap and run some water
Flick a little switch on the wall
I'm hoping you remember what I taught ya
Hoping you remember me at all

(Chorus)
I'm strong but I feel like a mouse when you're gone
Yes, and I'm, weak, but I'll take on the world when you're here
With me, with me

Can't you see you're in the wrong place
Won't you please face it and come home
When I think about your sweet face
I can't wait for you to come home
I can see you've got a real taste
for that champagne, but it's all gone
So come home
The kettle's on

I've got a little something on my mind
To keep it to myself isn't really very kind
Pouring out my heart isn't usually my style
But you gave me an inch so I'm gonna take a mile
You see

(Chorus)

Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Can't you see you're in the wrong place
Won't you please face it and come home
When I think about your sweet face
I can't wait for you to come home
Can't you see you're in the wrong place
Won't you please face it and come home
When I think about your sweet face
I can't wait for you to come

General CommentThis one's a bit self-explanatory, eh? Very pretty musicwise though. And very cute lyricwise. ;O

General CommentThis song to me tells the story of a guy and girl who fell in love in a small town. then she moved on to a city and now he wants her to go home.
"I can see you've got a real taste for that champagne but it's all gone,
So come home... the kettle's on."
Meaning she wanted to go to the city to see the lights and energy, but after a while he knows she'll get bored of it where "So come home... the kettle's on."

General CommentI think it's about a boy and girl who were happy together. But she fell in love with another (maybe a rich guy which would explain the champagne). And he still loves her and because the other guy isn't right for her, he wants her to come home.

General CommentWasn't at all interested in The Feeling before they played at a Summer Ball I was working at. This song blew me away live, in fact they all did. One of these bands I really don't WANT to like, but they are very talented and very good live and write good pop songs!

And this song is making me emotional at the moment! Haha!
